My Story

I have decided to become a Makahiker to help raise funds for the Makaton Charity.

I have seen the positive difference that using Makaton can make in my work promoting and supporting use of Makaton over the past 15 years.

I strongly believe that every child has the right to communicate and to be included.

This climb is a huge challenge for me but I want to give back to this charity which does such fantastic work.

I tried to climb Snowdon once before but was advised to turn back due to snow and ice before I reached the summit.

This time I would like to make it to the top and "reach for the sky!"
